First I want to say this…

It just don’t work. I’m kinda sad about this. I didn’t lose weight counting cals in the first place. I don’t know what I was thinking. It’s absurd. I’m just going to continue to eat clean. Lot of fruits and vegetables. Nut and nut butters and I’ll stay healthy. I will focus on my kayaking and fitness and the rest will follow. Food blogging is super duper good and I should keep that up. I do know something that works…

 

 

 

…this pretty picture I took! Mom and I always called this Indian Paintbrush.

It always grew behind the house where I with my parents this time of year. Lots of it. I never paid attention until I started learning about flowers and herbs. I remember mom telling me that the natives used it to cure syphilis and other STD’s or STI’s whatever is called. Everytime I see this beautiful flower I think of diseases of the genitalia region. Thanks a lot mom!
